Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What vaccinations does my dog need to attend daycare?
A: To ensure the safety and health of all our furry guests, we require the following vaccinations:
- DHLPP(Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza)
- Bordetella(Kennel Cough)
- Rabies
Q2: Why are these vaccinations required?
A: These vaccinations help protect your dog from common illnesses and infectious diseases. By ensuring all dogs are vaccinated, we create a safer environment for everyone.
Q3: How do I provide proof of vaccination?
A: Please bring your dog’s vaccination paperwork when you drop them off. Our staff will need to verify that all vaccinations are up-to-date before your dog can participate in daycare activities.
Q4: What if my dog is not vaccinated?
A: If your dog is not up-to-date on their vaccinations, they will not be able to attend daycare until all requirements are met. We recommend consulting with your veterinarian to get the necessary vaccinations. Exceptions can be made if its a underage puppy.
Q5: How often do vaccinations need to be updated?
A: Vaccination schedules can vary, but generally:
- DHLPP: Every 1 to 3 years, depending on the vaccine used.
- Bordetella: Annually, or as recommended by your veterinarian.
- Rabies: Every 1 to 3 years, based on local laws and regulations.
Q6: Can I send vaccination paperwork electronically?
A: Yes! You can email or text a copy of your dog’s vaccination records to us prior to their first visit. Please ensure all records are clear and legible.
Q7: Do I need to fill out any forms before my dog can attend daycare?
A: Yes, a completed consent form must be signed before your dog can attend daycare. This form ensures that you understand and agree to our policies.
Q8: Are there any requirements regarding spaying or neutering?
A: Yes, all dogs over the age 12 months or older must be spayed or neutered to attend daycare. This helps ensure a harmonious environment for all dogs.
Q9: Can we take a tour of the building ?
A: Unfortunately we cant let you in when we have dogs inside the building. You can take a peek from our front section but we can not allow you to walk freely within our facility. It is an open area with dogs.
Q10: Do we get a refund if our pet stay lesser days then the original booking?
A:Unfortunately we can not give a you a refund unless it’s due to medical reason for your pup.
Q11: Do we take all breeds ?
A: Unfortunately, We can not accommodate all breeds or dogs with aggressive tendencies or reactive personalities. Our open- space daycare is designed for socialization and play, and we prioritize the safety and well being of all our canine guests. Unfortunately, this means we may not be suitable for larger breed dogs or those requiring specialized handling. If you’re unsure whether your dog’s breed is on our approved list, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would be happy to discuss your dog’s individual needs and determine if our daycare is good fit.
Q12: Is there a weight or height limit?
A: While we don’t have a specific weight limit, our open area daycare has safety considerations. If your’e pup can jump over the fences or is strong enough to pull us when we try to stop them, then our facility might not be the right fit for your pup.
Q13: How often do daycare and boarding dogs go out for walks?
A: Daycare dogs will go for one walk(35-40 minutes outside time) which is included in the regular daycare charges. Once walks are done, we put them in different play groups according to their energy. We take pride in ensuring your pup is happily tired by the end of the day!
On the other hand, if your’e dog is spending the night with us or staying for longer boarding then our walking schedule is a bit different. Boarding dogs will go out for a walk first thing in the morning, then mid afternoon, and lastly before they go to bed. But again, If your’e pup is high energy and require more exercise than we do also increase number of walks.
p.s Night nanny loves a tired pup so the other boarders!.
